As a minimalist I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I’ve traveled with only a 12 liter backpack, but Bensen’s no baggage challenge was more extreme and a dream challenge for myself. In this memoir, Bensen speaks not only of her very brave minimalist baggage adventure, but of a very universal theme of love and life and all the unanswerable questions we sometimes inflict on ourselves to the point of mental paralysis and fear of our unknown futures. Reading on, Bensen discovers through this 21 day journey, which is said it takes 21 days to learn a new habit, the author discovers that she doesn’t have to have all the answers to life or a mapped out, planned out day by day, step by step life.
